What an unforgettable weekend that was!
The atmosphere was electric, the vibes were high and the sun didn’t let up but neither did you!
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who braved the heat to dance, sing, volunteer and make this year’s festival one to remember 
From incredible live music to the delicious local food, we’re so proud to be showcasing all elements of Somerset talent that brings our community together!

2025 Highlights
Thank you Somerstock!
Following the success of this year’s Somerton Music & Arts Festival, the Festival Committee has made donations to support the vital work of the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance (D&SAA) and The Recreation Ground Trust.
A cheque was presented at Henstridge Airfield, home of the air ambulance helicopter where Charlotte Humber, Support Engagement Officer of D&SAA receive the donation from the Festival treasurer Martyn Smith.
The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance provides a life-saving emergency service across the region, funded almost entirely by charitable donations. The Festival Committee was delighted to contribute to this essential work as part of its commitment to supporting local causes.
Martyn Smith said, “We are proud to support the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. Thanks to the success of the Festival and the fantastic support from the community, we are able to give something back to a service that helps so many people in Somerset and beyond.”
A second cheque was presented by festival chairman Fred Bassett to the Recreation Ground Trust in recognition of the valuable community facility they provide for Somerton and their continued support of Somerstock.

Somerton’s iconic music festival about to begin – live at the Rec on 11th and 12th July 2025 with a full day of fabulous sunshine, live music all day Saturday and a special selection of bands performing on Friday night.
Gates open 5pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday
There’s something for everyone at Somerstock! Enjoy a diverse line-up of music spanning multiple genres, live DJ sets, delicious street food from around the world, well-stocked bars, and a vibrant selection of retail stalls. Little ones will be kept entertained with plenty of fun activities, leaving you free to hit the dance floor and throw a few shapes!
Tier 3 tickets on sale now!
Somerton’s iconic music festival will be back live at the Rec on 12th and 13th July 2024 with a full day of fabulous live music on Saturday and a special selection of bands performing on Friday night.
Somerstock 2023 was a sell out, and Tier 1 and 2 tickets for 2024 have already sold out. Tier 3 tickets are available online and at our ticket office at Stationery House in Somerton. Grab yours now before they’re gone!
FRIDAY NIGHT TICKETS RELEASED!
Friday night music proved a popular addition in 2023 and with festival tickets selling fast, we have released a limited number of tickets for the Friday Night. So if you can’t make the whole festival, there’s no need to miss out!
We’re continuing to evolve!
Another special selection of bands and acoustic sounds will set the mood for Somerstock 2025 on the Friday evening along with a fantastic line up of performers playing all day on Saturday. Along with all the usual attractions, bars and street food to set your taste buds alight, Somerstock just keeps getting better.

What’s in it for the kids?
Don’t worry, whilst you’re getting your groove on there’s plenty to keep the youngsters entertained on Saturday in our Kids’ Zone! Activities (many of which are free) include a silent disco in the big marquee, and lots of fun activities.
Don’t forget, children under 12 go free!
Make a weekend of it!
Our campsite opens at 4pm on Friday evening so come early and soak up the atmosphere! There’ll be food and drink, loos and security on hand to ensure you have a fantastic time.
Tents and campers welcome! Tickets go on sale 1st December.
2025 Bands
BALANCE OF POWER
The ultimate tribute to anthemic rock. These top musicians from the South Coast of England deliver expertly crafted, professional performances packed with energy and guaranteed to have you singing at the top of your voice.
BIG HANDS
Big Hands is an exciting Taunton based band playing an array of good vibe rock and reggae numbers. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes and a loud Hawaiian shirt, they will do the rest!
BIG BRASS SKA
Dorset based band featuring ten experienced musicians who all love that unmistakeable ska sound. The essential ska rhythm section – bass, drums, guitar & keys – is at the heart of everything they do whilst their horn section gives them their trademark wall of sound.
BRIT POP BOYS
The 8-piece band take audiences on a spectacular journey through the golden age of Classic Rock, performing hits from artists such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac & the Eagles
COVER ALL BASES
Local 5-piece rock and pop covers band that keeps the audience on it’s toes with favourites from the likes of Bryan Adams, Blondie and Neil Diamond supplemented by slow dance numbers with the night invariably ending by turning it up to 11 ,
HARRI PICK
Harri Pick is Taunton-born and London-based. Her sound is pop-rock, a harmonious blend of sounds from the likes of Sam Fender and Beabadoobee. She has incredible 'of-the-time' lyrics, a DIY attitude and a unique vocal tone.
TANYEE LORD
Taynee Lord sits upon her vocal throne producing a heady mix of anthemic hooks and commanding lyrics. Prepare yourself for high octane country twang as Taynee Lord gives you music for sunsets and highways from Bristol to Nashville.
PRIDDICE
Unlike the Gallagher brothers, Craig and Alex Priddice are two brothers who can sing, play guitar, write songs and get along! The duo have played at prestigious venues and festivals including Glastonbury and the Godney Gathering and have supported the likes of Toploader.
SNAPPA
Somerset’s most popular party band has played at almost 2000 gigs performing at numerous established and well known venues including the world famous Twickenham Stadium! Our clients have included everyone from rock stars to royalty.
CUT CAPERS
This explosive 9-piece has built a killer reputation for live shows; ultra-high energy experiences, with epic arrangements, booming brass hooks, and scintillating solos.
THE NOMADS
DJ SLIGHTY
Based in Somerset, DJ Slighty is a young DJ and producer banging out house, garage, drum and bass, jungle and more! During COVID, DJ Slighty evicted his mum from her home office and turned it into his music studio!
